Thank God for Loving a Wretch Like Me

The love of God inspired Philip Bliss, hymnwriter, to pen:

Bearing shame and scoffing rude,
In my place condemned He stood
– sealed my pardon with His blood.
Hallelujah, what a saviour!

Birthday at McDonald’s

All this talk about birthdays reminds me that I have never celebrated my birthday at McDonald’s. I have always been envious of others whenever they celebrate their birthdays there. Although it would seem weird to celebrate my birthday at McDonald’s now, I truly won’t mind doing so! I shall see it as a fun and spontaenous thing to do! Happy Meals for all:)

Eating Healthily with Colours

Mind your colours when you are eating. Here are some tips I have picked up:

Red is good for your heart (red apples, tomatoes, etc.)
Green keeps your bones, teeth and muscles strong (honeydew, chye sim, kailan, etc.)
Purple gives your skin a healthy glow (purple grapes, brinjals, etc.)

Be healthy!

Just A Birthday Wish

Hmmm…no birthday wishes from you this year…

I had recently gone to the playground near my Jurong Point house to check if our initials are still there but nope, it’s gone. That was the second time I had done that. They were still there the first time I went.

Guess with time, memories and their remnants do fade and disappear. It makes me sad. Little things like sending me a birthday greeting and seeing our initials are evidence that we were once together and shared great things, and that even if we are no longer together, we hold each other in special regard.

Now, I don’t even get a birthday wish.

Disgusting Start to A Day

Hopping off my cab upon arrival at my office and reaching out my hand to close the door, I touched something wet and disgusting. Mucus!! ArrghH!

When I was washing it off, ONE BIT clung onto my finger! I already felt puke-ish about it and I had to scrape it off with my fingernail!

Horrendous start to my Christmas eve!

Quarter-Century Old Already!

As I was answering a survey and have arrived at the 2nd question which I am asked my age, I realised once again that, yes, I am 25 years old now!

Thanks to all the lovelies who have either celebrated with me or sent well-wishes! Really appreciated:)

As I Seek to Grow Spiritually

May apostle Paul’s words be my motivation as I seek to grow in my Christian life:

I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources [God] will give you mighty inner strength through His Holy Spirit. And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in Him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God’s marvellous love. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love really is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God (Ephesians 3:16-19)
